Pack Hikes

Our group walks give your dog the chance to socialise, learn and burn off some excess energy during the day.

You may be at work, unwell or just want your dog to have a good time!

Check out how our pack hikes work below.

Initial assessment,
consultation & trial period

After an initial chat over email or whatsapp, we will match your dog with one of our team based on your area, the days you need and your dogs breed and temperament.

Your dog walker will then pop round to meet you and have a more in-depth chat about your dog and their personality.

After this we will book your dog in for at least one walk per week for the first 4 weeks. This enables us to make sure they are a good fit with us, and more importantly to make sure they settle with their new friends and routine.

Pick up & Drop off

All group walks are an hour long and your dog will be picked up in one of our specially kitted out vehicles and taken to one of the many fun and stimulating areas of our beautiful countryside, with up to another 5 like-minded pooches.

Training on the job!

We use a whistle on all our walks and can help with recall training if required, as well as other useful everyday doggy tricks such as sitting and waiting for treats, at gates and before exiting a vehicle.

And of course, and possibly the most important, sitting and posing for group photos!

Pack walking requirements

All dog's joining us on pack hikes must;

  • Be sociable with other dogs and humans. They don't have to be the life and soul of the party but they must be comfortable in the presence of other dogs and humans.

  • Have good recall skills. This is a must! We start all dogs on a long line for their first few walks, while we get to know them. But a good level of recall is important to keep your dog safe while out and about.

  • Travel well and comfortably. All of our vehicles have been kitted out with cages to make sure we can separate your dogs and keep them safe in transit. Its essential your dog travels well so they are comfortable during this part of their day.
